When animals feel a change, they respond to it. Plants do not have sense organs but they can feel. When we touch the leaves of a touch-me-not (mimosa) plant, the leaves close, as they also feel. 
(जब जनावरहरुले केही परिवर्तनहरु महसुस गर्छन तब उनीहरुले प्रतिक्रिया देखाउँछ । बिरुवाहरुको इन्द्रीय (सेन्स अर्गान्स) हुँदैन तरपनि उनीहरूले महसुस गर्न सक्छन् । जब हामीले लज्जावली काँडाको पातलाई छुन्छौँ, त्यसले पात खुम्चाउँछ । यसले पनि महसुस गर्छ ।)

6. Living beings reproduce (सजीव प्राणीहरुले सन्तान उत्पादन गर्छ)
All living beings reproduce their own babies in their own ways. They reproduce either by giving birth to their young ones or by laying eggs. Animals like humans, cats, dogs, cows, elephants and tigers give birth to their babies. Hens, ducks, insects, snakes and lizards lay eggs. They hatch eggs to produce babies.
(सबै सजीव प्राणीहरुले आफ्नै तरिकाबाट बच्चा जन्माउने गर्छ । तिनीहरुले बच्चा जन्माएर वा अण्डा कोरलेर बच्चा जन्माउँछन् । जनवारहरु जस्तै; मानिस, बिरालो, कुकुर, गाई, हात्ती, बाघ आदीले बच्चा जन्माउँछन् । कुखुरा, हाँस, किराहरु, सर्प र छेपाराहरुले अण्डा पार्छन् । उनीहरूले अण्डा कोरलेर सन्तान उत्पादन गर्छन ।)
Plants also reproduce themselves. Most plants reproduce by using their own seeds. Most baby plants grow from seeds. Some plants produce new plants by using their stem. A piece of rose stem grows to a new rose plant. In this way, all living beings produce the young ones. This is called reproduction.
(बिरुवाहरुले पनि बिरुवा उत्पादन गर्छन् । धेरैजसो बिरुवाहरुले आफ्नै बिउहरुबाट नयाँ बिरुवाहरु उत्पादन गर्छन् । धेरैजसो विरुवाहरु बिउबाट उम्रन्छ । कुनैकुनै बिरुवाहरुले आफ्नो हाँगाबाट नयाँ बिरुवा तयार गर्छन् । एउटा गुलाफको हाँगा वा टुक्राबाट नयाँ गुलाफको बोट बन्छ । यसरी, सबै सजीब प्राणी (लिभिङ बिङ) हरुले आफूजस्तै सन्तान उत्पादन गर्छन् । यसैलाई सन्तान उत्पादन (रिप्रडक्सन) भनिन्छ ।

Living being excrete (सजीव प्राणीहरुले निष्कासन गर्छन्)
Living beings remove unwanted materials from their
body. The process is called excretion. The things thrown out from the body of living beings are called waste products. Animals excrete urine, sweat, foul air and stool as waste products. Plants throw out such things in the form of water, gum, etc.
(सजीव प्राणीहरुले अनावश्यक बस्तुहरु आफ्नो शरिरबाट फाल्छन् । यस प्रक्रियालाई निस्कासन भनिन्छ । हाम्रो शरिरबाट बाहिर फालिने चिजलाई अनावश्यक बस्तु भनिन्छ । जनवारहरुले पिसाब, पसिना, दुर्गन्धित हावा र दिसालाई अनावश्यक बस्तुको रुपमा बाहिर फाल्छ ।)

All living beings die (सबै सजीव प्राणीहरु मर्छन्)
Some living beings live for a short time and some live for a long time. But they do not live forever. After living beings die, they do not show any features of living beings.
(कुनै सजीव प्राणीहरु थोरै समय मात्र बाँच्छन् भने केही धेरै समयसम्म बाँच्छन् । तर, तिनीहरू सधैंका लागि भने बाँच्दैनन् । सजीव प्राणीहरु मरेपछि सजीव प्राणीहरुको कुनै गुणहरु देखाउँदैन् ।)
